We are a young Plestenjak – Rijavec family. We live in the southwestern part of the Banjska Plateau at an altitude of 680m in the village of Kal nad Kanalom. We are very connected to nature. Our life in the village is surrounded by forests, meadows, pastures and fields.

The company Bavant – design was originally based on products made of plastic and artificial materials (3D print) and the production of drones (carbon and aluminum).

Ever since we have lived in the village, nature has inspired us to make various products from wood. We manufacture and develop products that are used in the household and catering industry and elsewhere. As a novelty, we also started to develop and manufacture our “vape fashion” wooden cases according to the wishes of the customer. In addition, we also produce various boards or trays for food use. At the same time, we also use CNC and laser technology, which helps us a lot in this, but still a lot of manual work. This also makes almost every piece unique.

The name of the institution “Bavant” is an old local name, which we keep from generation to generation, and it comes from the place Sneberje near Ljubljana. We mostly use our own Slovenian wood, which we get in the forest, but there is also some exotic wood.
From the first beginnings to today, we have updated ourselves technologically and expanded our activity. In all the first years of operation, through perseverance, development and adaptability, we gained invaluable experience in the production of various types of wood products for customers who demand quality products. The most important goal of the company is to provide quality products so that the needs of the customers are guaranteed.
